Lisa Grimm is a member of the BU Law Class of 2009, and a self-professed travel and study abroad junkie.  Originally from Potomac, MD, Lisa headed south for college, earning a BA in English Literature and Latin American Studies from the University of Miami.  While at the University of Miami, she studied abroad at Oxford University in England and the Universidad de la Playa Ancha in Chile.  Additionally, Lisa traveled to Mexico City to take a class on U.S.-Mexican trade relations and completed her senior research paper while working at an orphanage in the Dominican Republic. Before entering BU Law, Lisa worked as a legal intern in Chile and worked stateside as a paralegal, a marketing assistant and an assistant horse trainer. Although she no longer has the time to work with horses, Lisa continues to be an avid equestrian and an active participant on the jumper circuit. To date, Lisa has explored various countries in South America, Central America, Europe and the Caribbean, but her upcoming trip to Singapore marks her first voyage to Asia.
