James Hsiao, a member of the J.D. Class of 2009, was born in far away exotic lands and raised in the rough urban jungles of New York City. James spent many years earning both his undergraduate and master’s degrees in Economics at Hunter College while working for Reuters America. During his time with Reuters, James traveled extensively, spending time in Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo, and London amongst other places. At Boston University School of Law, James was one of the directors of the Edward C. Stone moot court program, an articles editor for the BU International Law Journal, and he has competed in various moot court competitions both inside and outside the school. James is an avid fan of the New York Giants, Yankees and Manchester United.
