The shortstop in question is actually me, Harry Packman (Class of 1984) and most people who know me would be happy to tell you that my journey from B.U. to insanity was neither unexpected nor a long journey.  It has however, provided me with a lifetime of memories, a great group of friends and teammates and piles of championship t-shirts, bat bags, plaques and trophies.  I am not really insane (at least I hope I am not) but I would have bet everything I own that you were if you had told me back in 1983 that the intramural softball team I had just formed in law school would still be playing together in 2009.  Think of us as the Rolling Stones of softball with a lot less money but nevertheless, a bunch of old guys who still go “on tour” because it was what we love to do and because we are still pretty damned good at it.  This blog will try and recount some of our more interesting trips over the years as well as some of the characters we played with and have encountered.  I would not trade these memories for anything in the world.
