All new 1L and American Law LL.M. students received a copy card worth $25. Read more about copy cards here.
Also in your packet you will find your Lexis and Westlaw passwords. Please remember to register these passwords as soon as possible but before training begins on October 2.

From Michael Campion at LexisNexis:
Greetings,
Welcome back to law school. I hope that you had an enjoyable and rewarding summer, and I look forward to seeing you again soon.
If you’re searching for a topic for Law Review, Journal, or seminar paper, you should set up a 15 minute consultation with me. Do this well before your topics are due. You’ll be attending Lexis training during September, but by the time you get to it, your submission deadline may have been reached. Alternatively, you can set up a 1:1 with the students reps, Jamie Charles, or Trevor DeSane. You’ll find their schedules at myschool.lexis.com. For attending, not only will you learn about some different resources to consider, but you’ll receive enough points to buy things like a $10.00 B&N, iTunes, Starbucks, or AMC card. I’ll be available this week - tomorrow afternoon, and late Thursday morning into the early afternoon.
Be sure to pick an FRE booklet from the foyer near Room 316, or find Jamie or Trevor during their hours.
Finally, keep next Wednesday, 9/8 open for our Going Green and Putting Green table in the lobby. Details to follow, prizes and goodies.
See you soon,
Michael
