If you are one of the library’s many regular LiveChat users, or if you have been wanting to give it a try, I have good news! You can now chat with law librarians through the Library’s Facebook page. Become a fan of the Boston University Pappas Law Library and select the LiveChat tab to talk with a librarian from the comforts of the third floor quiet study room, your apartment, or anywhere in the world with an internet connection.
Need more reasons to become our fan? From our page you can also search the library catalog, locate electronic journals, and keep up on library events, hours, and other news.
If privacy concerns are holding you back, be aware that the ONLY information we see from our fans’ profiles are your small profile pictures, your networks, and any other information you designate as PUBLIC (what everyone on the Internet can see without being your friend). Whether or not you add us as a friend, you can continue to access LiveChat through our website.

Many sites are providing summaries and reviews of the recently completed 2008-09 Term of the U.S. Supreme Court.
These include news sources, such as The New York Times (see also this graphic), The Washington Post (see interactive feature) and USA Today’s wrapup article and summary of major rulings.
Many legal blogs are publishing perspectives, including ACS Blog (American Constitution Society), Constitutional Law Prof Blog, and The Volokh Conspiracy. The indispensable SCOTUSBlog has posted its Stat Pack Final Data and many commentary and analysis pieces. For other links, see our Law Blog Portal.
C-SPAN features a panel discussion from Washington Legal Foundation. You Tube is posting video of other commentators reflecting on the Term, including this Federal Judicial Center program.
